The East Mojave Heritage Trail can be ran from beginning to end, or in parts. Our favorite section is the area surrounding Baker, CA. Usually a yearly run in the early spring, we camp in the desert for the whole weekend and have a run on Saturday and Sunday before stopping for a hot meal on the way home. We visit old mining camps, abandoned turquoise mines, extinct volcanos, lava tubes, lava falls and a relay station for Pacbell / AT&T. We usually have a visit or two from some of the wild burros in the area. It makes for a long weekend, but it's well worth every minute of it!! Contact us for more info.
